How to add New Listing on Amazon India

In this article, We will guide you on how to create a new listing on Amazon India Marketplace step by step.

Before listing a product on Amazon every seller has to collect basic information regarding listing a product. Basic Requirements :-

1) SKU Number

2) UPC CODE
3) Title, keywords, Bullet Points and Description of Product

4) Image of Product

5) MRP 

6) Weightage
To create a new listing on Amazon the above features are mandatory. Without this information you cannot list a product on Amazon India.

Follow this steps to create a listing on Amazon.

1) The first step is to login to Seller Central. Click on Category or Inventory Menu - a dropdown menu will open click 'Add a product' (Note - You can also create a listing through - 'Add products via Upload' or Add products via Excel File. This option can be used when you have large number of listings eg. 10,20,50, 100)

2) The next step You will see is 'List a new product section' . Just scroll down and click on 'Create a new listing' option.

3)  Once you clicked 'Create a new listing' the next option will be to classify the product category for you listing. Sometimes people are not sure for their category. So we have two options here. First is Using the Search feature Classify tool Amazon. The second is by browsing the category option. Please check below images..

4) Once you have clicked on your category field the next listings detail page option will get open. All red star marks are mandatory field to create a new listing. Start with Vital Info, Offers, Images, Description, Keywords.

Once all the mandatory information is provided, just click on save and finish. The product will take 15 minutes to get live on Amazon website.
