Step by Step Guide on How a seller can opt out from Easy Ship Service..
Amazon the world's biggest market place platform works on 3 shipping models - Easy Ship, Seller Fullfiled and FBA(Fullfilled by Amazon). Its upto every seller which shipping model they want to use for their business. We will explain all three shipping models -
1) Easy Ship Model - In this model, Seller has to look after inventory, warehouse, Packing. Amazon will pickup the product from your place and will send the it through Amazon Transportation Network. Seller has to Pack the products scheduled the pick up time and hand products to Amazon guy. Under this model a seller gets benefit to sell their product under Cash on Delivery Payment mode Electronic Payment as well.
2) FBA (Fullfillment by Amazon) - FBA also known as Fullfillment by Amazon. The premiere model of Amazon where Seller just has to pack the products and send it to Amazon Warehouse. Amazon looks after Inventory, Warehouse, Packing and deliverying the final product to the customer. FBA model gets prime tag as well.
3) Self Ship Model - Self Ship or Seller Fullfilled Orders. Under this model seller is opted out from Cash on Delivery Orders. Seller has to look after fullfillment of products from Inventory, Packing, Scheduling the delivery and Delivering of the product. In self ship model, Seller has to send the product throug a courier agency. Courier agency can be any local/national company who will deliver the product on behalf of seller orders on Amazon.
Self Ship or Seller Fullfilled Orders can be helpful to any merchant in many ways. Some Sellers feel the cost of Easy Ship is high. As some courier agencies are providing courier service as very cheap rates as compared to Amazon Easy Ship. Self Ship is also a good option at the time of any festival. The number of orders are very high at time of festivals accross the world. The only benefit you get in Self Ship orders a seller can pack products at his own time. In easy ship model, the product has to be scheduled and keep it packed and when you have large number of orders it becomes very difficult to Pack all the products and make it ready.
Amazon Easy Ship to Self Ship Process -
1) Login to your Seller Central Account. Click on Get Support. Next option 'Shipping Settings' can be seen under Account Setup Launch. Click on Shipping Settings. The next option 'Chat now' will be available. Click on it.
2) Tell your concern to Seller Support Chat Person. Tell them you want to opt out from Easy Ship Model. Amazon Chat support will send you link to opt out from Easy Ship Model. Please check the image.
3) Click on the link - A new window will open up. It will ask you to enter merchant token number. Their is an option below it to find click here for merchant token number. Please click it a new window it will show your merchant id copy token number and paste it in Merchant Token Bar. The next step they will ask why you want opt out from Easy Ship. Click on Easy Ship Fees high and last option they will ask which courier service you're going to use..Click on submit once it is done.
4) Once you have fill up the form, Amazon will disable your easy ship option with in 3-4 business days.

Once you get approval from Amazon Support Team regarding Self Ship all the orders will be fullfilled by Seller.
